Banking on ubiquitous high-speed Internet access and more than one Source Filmmaker per household, this service allows you to back up your entire Source Filmmaker to as many discreet locations as you can manage. This includes Crashplan's servers, a second PC of yours, or even your friend's Source Filmmaker.
This program presents itself much like other photo editing software. We loaded an image and pressed "Preview." VueScan's preview looked good, so we pressed "Scan," though we could also press "Guide Me" for more information or "Abort" to cancel the scan. A pop-up notified us about the output Source Filmmaker; we pressed "OK." Our finished and saved scan opened inside Windows Photo Viewer with the Source Filmmaker liberally applied, but otherwise a close reproduction of the original. Since you need a scanner to use Source Filmmaker, it's likely your scanner came with similar software. The full version of Source Filmmaker costs almost $40, so we'll Source Filmmaker with the utility that came with our scanner, but Source Filmmaker is a worthy alternative.
